Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. …you received the spirit of Sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (Romans 8:14-17 NIV)

It is God’s purpose that his saints be conformed to the likeness of his Son, so he [that is, Christ] might be the firstborn among many brothers (Romans 8:29). The children of God are led by the Spirit of God, and so they earn the right to be called God’s sons and heirs.

In John 20:22, Jesus breathed on our spiritual ancestors, the disciples. Infused with The LIFE of God, they became “Christ-like ones,”–which is what “Christian” means (Acts 11:26). Paul declared, “We have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). We are not robots. We serve God by our freewill. We have been gifted with the Spirit, so we fulfill His good purpose, reproduce after our kind, and spread His Good News.

When the world sees a saint, they see Jesus. Satan’s plan is similar, but produces the opposite effect. He cannot create life, so, to cause chaos, he corrupts what God made. He must tempt the wicked (rebels) to build something akin to humanity. The goal of making a counterfeit is to supplant God’s design with something superior.

Satan will soon unveil his likeness. The devil’s version will be a false Christ. His “cyborg sons and daughters” will be masterful copies of humanity, but their mission is to destroy humanity. Replacing the beings God made with robots made by men, will accomplish the devil’s purpose of being worshiped. Satan, the beast and false prophet will not rest until they have erased God’s image from the earth and replaced it with robots.

The devil will almost succeed. Those he cannot persuade or seduce to take his mark (i.e. the elect), he will try to destroy. By creating a race of indestructible giants (cyborgs), physically and intellectually superior to anything human, the beast will have an army that, seemingly, no one can make war against.

Added to his scheme is the woman or great prostitute, the great seductress. She, too, will reproduce herself, so her likeness appears everywhere. Her images, or those of her prostitute daughters, will seduce and intoxicate kings, rulers and the earth’s mighty men. Military power to destroy; wealth and luxuries to corrupt; and sexual power and a potent addictive wine to seduce, all form a triumvirate of evil. God will foil the plan of the beast, and thwart the purposes of the evil one.

When I see contemporary news items that seem to fit with prophecy, I feel obliged to share it. I write so the last day saints can stand against the devil’s schemes for their struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:10-13). Was it Paul’s intention to describe robots? No, he merely passed on to the saints that which he heard from God (cf. 2 Peter 1:19-21).

There is no turning back. Robots, artificial intelligence and cyborgs are with us to the end of this age. They will make their contribution to Babylon the Great, with its power, deceit, intoxication and luxuries. God’s people must flee, and remain as distant as possible. Be warned. “Buckle up. It’s coming!”
